The Kobe-Osaka International Port Corporation (known as HPC) aims to create an international hub port in East Asia to support the industries and international logistics in Western Japan. It conducts construction work and the maintenance and repair of the facilities in the container and ferry terminals of Hanshin Port (Kobe Port and Osaka Port), the installation of cargo-handling machinery and equipment, maintenance work, and marketing and cargo collection activities to encourage the use of the Hanshin Port facilities by international container shipping companies and domestic cargo.

In order to obtain further confidence and trust from our stakeholders, we will work with the spirit of “One for all, All for one” and take on the new challenges with the aim of being a group of port professionals.
Introduction to our Mascot Character
To mark our 10th anniversary, a new mascot character was created for the Kobe-Osaka International Port Corporation. The motif is the “first penguin,” which is the bird that does not fear the risks and is the first to leap out of the group and take on the challenges. The mascot will contribute to the further prosperity of Hanshin Port as the face of a more loveable company.
- Name: BRALEY
- Origin: The name was chosen to represent the two meanings of being “brave,” as the first penguin taking on the risks and leaping into new areas, and to “blaze” (shine), with the image of passionately leading others into new areas.
